The Hudson Police Department and the Rodgers Memorial Library will be hosting a Community Block Party at the properties of the Rodgers Library, Hills Garrison and Alvirne Schools* on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4 - 8 pm (*if inclement weather the event will take place indoors at one of the schools).
Community members are invited to come to interact with Police Officers, a touch a truck event, a food truck area, enjoy bounce houses, face painting, water balloon fight along with various other activities while visiting with neighbors. The event will be capped off with an outdoor family movie. All events will be free with the exception of the Food Trucks. Vendors will also be set-up with booths about community safety.
Vendors Wanted - A limited number of vendor spaces are available for food trucks, local businesses, and non-profit groups/agencies. The National Night Out is an annual police-community partnership event with a goal to raise awareness on the following topics: Public Safety, Crime Prevention, Health, Education and Youth Programs.
