• Inspector - Full Time

    The Town of Hudson, NH Fire Department is now accepting applications for the following position: FULL-TIME INSPECTOR

    Our team can provide guidance and direction in the training and certifications needed to help educate the community and contractors on safe building practices, new construction, renovations and more. 

    As an inspector you will be ensuring that all construction practices meet the minimum building and fire codes adopted by the State of NH as well as performing annual place of assembly inspections on schools, restaurants and more.

    Position Details:

    • Hourly Pay Range: $25.28 to $31.70
    • Competitive wage scale and benefits package
    • Group 1 membership in the NH Retirement System
    • Inspector position a member of the Hudson Support Staff Union, AFSCME Local 1801. 
      • A new 3 year contract was just passed and will go into effect 7/1/2022!
    • Yearly clothing allowance provided
    • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.
    The Inspectional Services Division strives to meet the needs of this every growing community.
    • Over 2,200 permits issued in 2021
    • Over 3,300 inspections completed in 2021
    • Two new 2021 Ford Ranger Pickups just added to the fleet
